ABOUT PASTOR BOLDEN

Minister Michael Bolden gave his life to Lord in 1987 after hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ preached by his beloved Pastor, Apostle, Dr. Jeannette C. Holmes-Vann. He has been a member of Hope Chapel for over 32 years. He has been a member of Hope Chapel for over 32 years and was ordained as a minister in 1999. He has faithfully served with co-laborers in Christ to preach the word of God to reach lost souls and encourage believers. “When I gave my life to Christ, it was here that I heard God’s call to help labor in this ministry.”

Minister Bolden firmly believes that the most rewarding part of be-ing involved with Hope Chapel Ministries is the fact that it is a holistic ministry that deals with the whole man. Through the preaching and teaching of a genuine Pastor it was made easy to serve God and to re-main motivated to stay committed. Minister Bolden is the Chairman of the Prison Ministry Outreach. He is also involved in other committees such as Thespians, Pastors Aide, Men’s Fellowship, Elders’ Board, Unit Leader and Board of Directors.

Minister Bolden is currently employed with the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. He has been happily married to his lovely wife, Lu-Juana Bolden, for 38 years. The couple has 3 children: Brandon, Ro-setta, and Rachel, one son-in-law Chris and 4 grandchildren: Aniyah, Jayden, Jehlani and Nyla.
