Personal Growth Ministries

Hope Chapel provides a variety of ministries to help men and women, boys and girls, the married and unmarried, develop and grow both personally and spiritually. Men and Women's Fellowship provide wholesome fellowship for men and women of all ages. Singles and Married Couples ministries help strengthen both groups as they explore their personal goals and directions according to God's plan and purpose.

Additionally, ministries such as Youth Helping Youth to Focus, Girls Pursuing Excellence, Young Men of Valor and Distinction, Boy Scouts, Jewels for Jesus and BOYS (Battling the Opposition for Young Souls) focus on a very critical facet of our future society - our youth. Just as important are our Senior saints who receive support and direction for ministry and encouragement as they address common concerns and interests in a ministry designed just for seniors.

Education

If "knowledge is power", then Hope Champions are indeed a powerful force to be reckoned with. With a diverse curriculum that caters to the whole child, Hope Chapel Christian Assembly has been teaching children the word of God since the inception of the Children's Church Department in 1973. With four classroom departments covering nursery ages through 11 years of age, Hope Chapel ministers to children spiritually, emotionally, physically, academically and naturally. Because education is so important, the Educational Committee was organized in 1981 to assist in promoting educational activities of the Church. Encouraging academic excellence and achievement for both children and their parents, we know that our children will excel in their educational pursuits.

Esprit de Corps Center for Learning is the latest miracle God has wrought through the hands of Dr. Holmes. The newly constructed school completed in 2001 is adjacent to Hope Chapel's Main Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Children's Church, Daycare (Nursery) and Kindergarten. The multi­ purpose facility which includes an auditorium and cafeteria is designed to accommodate up to 1,000 people with special emphasis on performing arts, training for service and community enrichment.

Music

The Hope Chapel Mass Choir has faithfully served for over 29 years singing in churches all over Jacksonville and many other cities throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and New Jersey, with such artists as Shirley Caesar, Alvin Darling, Valerie Boyd, Angelo & Veronica, Larnelle Harris and Jesse Dixon. Through the years, with the guidance of our Apostle Dr. Jeannette C Holmes Vann, we have never lost our original vision: We are not just singers, but ministers sent forth to encourage, comfort and strengthen the hearts of the saints and to minister to a hurting and dying world.. With assistance from Reverend Alvin Darling and Pastor Holmes-Vann, the choir has produced 10 anointed gospel albums which have a dynamic sound that can be heard all over the world.

Mount Sharon Record Company was founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of Hope Chapel Ministries. President and Founder Apostle Dr. Jeannette C. Holmes Vann established this company to produce spiritually enriched music that carries the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
