Revealing the Cause and the Purpose in Your Life
Scriptural Text: I Peter 4: 7-11

But
the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore, sober, and watch
unto prayer.
This is a most
profound statement. We need to pay attention to world history and
live a life that shows that Jesus' return is imminent. Ready or
not, this world as we know it, is coming to an end.
Therefore we
must:
- live soberly
- pray fervently
- love sincerely
from the heart (love has to be cultivated)
- be hospitable
and show kindness
- serve each
other with spiritual gifts
We are told
to stir up the gift that's within. Spiritual gifts are more powerful
than the gifts of the world. Every believer needs to know the purpose
of God for his/her life in the kingdom.
We are to serve
God in the power of the Holy Ghost, know his voice and follow his
leading
We are to praise
God by our lifestyle.
We must remain
loyal to Christ when going through trials, understanding that trials
come to make us strong. (Hebrews 10:25; James 5: 8,9; I John 2:18)
These are the
last days and we need to think clearly realizing that the coming
of the Lord draws near.
